The library, a place open to all
Open to the city and its citizens, IMT Mines Albi’s Library is a resource for scientific culture
In the context of promoting scientific and technical culture, one of the four missions of IMT Mines Albi, the Library makes every effort to make its resources and services as accessible as possible to the public.
As such, without registration, citizens are welcome in the library during opening hours, and they can benefit from:
- Different workspaces equipped with the necessary tools,
- A comfortable reading and relaxation area,
- Books, theses, and journals available for open access,
- Digital resources accessible on the computers in the reading room
Moreover, registering with the University of Toulouse Library network provides additional services:
- Borrowing documents from our library,
- Borrowing documents from other libraries in the network, either on-site or through the shuttle service, free service for all registered readers.
Furthermore, the Library publishes two newsletters, which are valuable tools for staying up to date with current events and can be subscribed to HERE.
Finally, the implementation of Open Science principles is a key focus of our commitment to the scientific community, accessible to all.
